Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will combine their expertise with our fast-paced small-business environment and be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment. We are looking for an experienced residential/commercial Framer who is self-motivated to join our team. The right candidate will deliver the most efficient, highest quality customer experience in residential/commercial framing structural work. They will be highly efficient, detail oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
· Understand & adhere to State and Local Building codes & regulations, safety guidelines, and quality standards at all times.
· Be able to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand project requirements and determine the layout of framing components.
· Be familiar with the types of tools, techniques and materials used for residential framing while working responsibly using personal, and company supplied tools and equipment
· Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, metal, or other materials to build frameworks, walls, floors, and roofs according to construction plans.
· Install windows, doors, and structural hardware as per project specifications.
· Collaborate with other team members such as architects, contractors, & plumbers, to ensure seamless coordination during the construction process.
· Exhibit problem-solving and good interaction skills in order to be able to work independently with little or no supervision or as part of a team.
· Provide safe residential/commercial frame structures by inspecting to ensure they meet local & state building codes and regulations.
· Make material lists ahead of time and ensure materials are utilized efficiently, minimizing waste, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
· Keep accurate records of project progress, including time spent, materials used, and any issues encountered.
· Be able to follow instructions, including written instructions for tasks to be performed.
· Performs work required for the construction and build frame structures for residential & commercial projects.
· Inspect and repair existing framing structures to ensure their stability and compliance with safety standards.
· Safely operate and maintain construction tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Requirements:
· Valid driver's license and be able to safely operate your personal vehicle
· Reliable transportation/work availability & Willingness to commute to different Jobsites
· Thorough knowledge of residential framing
· Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, work around dirt, dust, and other construction environs
· Solid understanding of blueprints, plans, and specifications
· Strong mathematical and measurement skills
· Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
· Able to supply their own personal tools
· Ability to communicate with co-workers, foreman, project managers
· Able to read instructions and follow safety rules and regulations
· Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments. Stand, stoop, kneel, bend, and safely lift/carry up to 50lbs on a regular basis

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

- Frame carpentry: 4 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
