Material planner
Purpose of the Job
Execute TLS Material planning and Inventory strategies in coordination with others SC teams, Industrialization and Operations
Improve TLS performance in term of material availability and inventory managemen
Responsibilities
- Execute TLS Material planning and Inventory strategies in coordination with Industrialization and Operations
- Define parts typology (based on ABC, variability, business type...etc) for defining planning tactics and to support Line replenishment
- Support Sales & Operations planning strategy defined by Industrialization and Operations
- Define and set-up MRP parameters to implement material planning strategies
- Participate to the Engineering Change committee – guarantee proper plan of material changes
- Analyze Inventory content for correcting planning strategies
- Support finance for inventory depreciation calculation
- Implement and manage improvement plan in regard of Inventory reduction
Measure performance in material planning (material availability) and inventories
Educational Requirements
Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics/Engineering or Professional qualification in Supply Chain/Logistics area
Desired Knowledge / Experience
- 3-4 years experience of the Maintenance industry
- Working knowledge of Material requirement planning and inventory control system.
- Knowledge of store/warehouse management
Supply Chain expertise, working knowledge of ERP systems including SAP with special regards to modules used for management of the Supply Chain
