Job Duties
- Create and maintain personal health records
- Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of Physician
- Order, interpret and e! valuate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clin! ical problems and health care needs
- Review and prescribe medication and/or other forms of treatment recommendations as appropriate
- Record/document physical findings and formulate plan and prognosis-will provide written after-care/home instructions
- Collaborate with Physician and other staff to prepare comprehensive care plans
- Refer patients to Physician for consultation or to specialized treatment centers
- Participate in facility leadership to improve quality of care
- Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices
- Valid Advanced Practice State License issued by the State Board of Nursing.
- Valid accreditation from the AANP or ANCC as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Valid Prescriptive Authority (per state practice requirements).
- Meet and maintain all legal requirements per state and national statutes to practice within state as a family nurse practitione! r.
- Current ACLS
- Solid References
- Be able to pass background check and drug screen.
- Minimum of Twelve (12) months of nurse practitioner clinical experience.
