Detailed specification about this occupation opportunity please read the description below. Manages quality surgical health care services to patients in a cost effective manner. Completes a record of health care services provided by him/her. Conducts pre-operative assessments for patients. Presents pertinent history and physical findings to the anesthesiologist on every patient and performs anesthetic plan outlined by the anesthesiologist. Fulfill quality managements and functions as assigned through departmental meetings . Maintains adequate anesthesia supplies in the clinical areas on a daily basis.Assists in maintenance of a clin! ic environment conducive to good medical practice. Maintains c! ompetence through attendance at appropriate CME meetings.. Attend department, facility, and General Staff meetings. Complies with all Federal, State, and SMA/SHS regulations, policies and procedures.
Fast paced surgicenter that is one of the busiest in the country. Involves a lot of walking. - Undergraduate degree in applicable area of expertise or equivalent experience.
Attended approved CRNA program. Licensed to practice by the Nevada State Board of Nursing and Nationally Certified by the AANA. Minimum of 5 years clinical experience as a Nurse Anesthetist in an acute care facility. Experience with pediatrics and shoulder blocks.Prior experience in a multi-specialty group or managed care environment is highly desirable.
