Responsible for day to day operations oversight of the facility's Emergency Department.
As the Division Head, you are expected to deliver these duties: Directs daily activities Process Management Resource allocation and performance improvement and training Provides effective leadership, management, direction and administration for entire assigned unit
To do these, you need to be equipped with vast knowledge and extensive experience onbudgeting, development, research and analysis of new and existing clinical services. You will! be designing and implementing cost reduction strategies when ! necessary. You are also responsible for strategic and capital equipment planning and technology assessment for Emergency Unit.
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Nursing is preferred (BSN, required); proven track record of effective management within a hospital/healthcare environment.
Paper works: Active License in Nevada M inimum of 3 to 5 yeaars (2+ years current) post graduate clinical experience M inimum of 2+ years experience as DON in Hospital/Healthcare Environmen Management Experience, preferred Specialty certifications/credentials - PALS, BCLS, ACLS Competencies in Financial Management and Leadership Very keen decision-making and problem solving skills Professional References
