(FULL-TIME) Registered Nurse - Las Vegas, NV Office - Naturopathic Medical Specialists

Ability to work 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday - Friday in a friendly face-paced Naturopathic Medical clinic where the providers assist their patient s in healing naturally.

Utilizing your optimal skill set, you will provide direct care to patients per Provider’s orders. Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Administer medication as needed.May include administration of some specific nutrients.
  • Administer IV therapy and other therapeutic and diagnostic measures.
  • Facilitate
  • Expedite timely and smooth flow of patients through check in and check out.Accompanies patient to other areas as directed.
  • Complete patient assessments (i.e. vitals, collecting specimens etc.)
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records. Enters pertinent information in computer system designed for statistical analysis, research, and patient follow-up.
  • Performs routine clerical duties assigned, including but not limited to faxing, filing and the completion of routine forms.
  • Answers phone/records phone message and assists provider with patient related calls. Assists in sc heduling appointments
  • Provide patient education and instructions regarding information shared via Provider.
  • Uses equipment standard to the profession.
  • Assists with maintaining adequate supply and medication inventory.Cleans and restocks exam rooms. Orders stock supplies.
  • Complies with current OSHA and Hippa Guidelines.
  • Maintains patients right to privacy.
  • Participates in Monthly Staff meetings and attends / completes other required meetings as well as in-service training.deemed necessary for staff.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a Nursing Program approved by the Nevada State Board of Nursing.
  • Current Nevada Registered Nurse License, current certification in Basic Life SUpport and current ACLS certification.
