Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing and supervising rehabilitation department to meet resident needs, facility'! s fiscal requirement and federal/state regulations.
Assigns resident caseload and other responsibilities to staff.
Supervises, orients, trains, evaluate and counsels employees to improve their job performance and maintain high standards of care.
Assists with hiring and terminating department employees.
Establishes policies and procedures for the department and assures employee compliance.
Ensures compliance with medical record systems.
Ensures clinicians report required MDS information accurately and on time.
Responsible for revenue and expense controls to meet budgetary requirements.
Participates in utilization review, quality assurance, resident care conferences, admission meetings,
department head meetings, community education planning and rehabilitation conferences.

Requirements for this job:
Graduate from an accredited therapy program
Minimum two years physical therapist experience
