Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian and licensed in Nevada, to come join their dynamic team at Mountainview Hospital, an acute care facility a 291 bed hospital, with an expansion to 339 beds in July 201! 3 located in Las Vegas, Nevada. This Position is scheduled to work full time with a full comprehensive benefits package from Sodexo.
The ideal candidate will:
Be a registered dietitian with 1 year of acute care experience and be responsible for the nutrition care process, including comprehensive nutrition assessments, appropriate interventions, educations, and interdisciplinary care planning for patients and prior food management and room service experience in a health-care setting a plus
Provide training and nutrition education in a variety of patient settings
assist with being a primary liaison between Food & Nutrition Services and patients, and actively participate in department Performance Improvement projects
Have excellent communication and customer service skills

Position Summary:
Provides basic nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in basic principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - 1 years work experience in health care including
hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term
care, retirement homes, or clinics, m eets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
