ROLE of the POSITION
This position is responsible for managing the development of the university's internal
and external communications programs (including collateral, feature content, advertising, and online and social media); providing members of
the organization with advice and counsel on communication and marketin! g issues; assisting central level communicators with creation ! of news
and information about the Schools of Nursing and Allied Health; supporting annual and signature event programming and production; and
providing communications support for unit development officers.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates for the position must hold a
bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related area and have a
minimum of three (3) years of progressive professional experience in the marketing and public relations field. Knowledge and experience in
the publication process, website management and content creation is required. Direct experience with the development of strategic
marketing/communication plans and online/social media skills are preferred. The successful candidate should be an excellent communicator
with strong writing and editing skills, very organized, detail-oriented, and able to accomplish a number of tasks under general supervision.

SALARY RANGE
The salary range is commensurate with experience. Position is contingent upon funding.
