Description: UnitedHealth Group is presently looking of Hospice Manager - West side team right now, this vacancy will be placed in Nevada. As the Hospice Manager you will be responsible for the Hospice RNs, LPNs, CNAs out in the field for the west team. Your team of nurses are responsible for clinical care and medical management activities across the continuum of care (assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating) as it relates to end of life palliative care.
Responsibilities:
Manages and is accountable for professional employees and/or supervisors.
Responsible for ensuring that the nurses provide quality/coordinated hospice services for patients assigned to the West Team's approx. 90 patients.
Responsible for ensuring that the hospice services are provided in compliance with State and Federal regulations.
Responsible for the oversight of nursing staff to ensure hospice services are provided via an interdisciplinary plan of care.
Flexible and able to change daily scheduled activities with short notice.
