St. Rose Dominican Hospitals Case Management Department provides Case Management, Utilization Review and Social services to an all encompassing patient population, inclusive of a full service line. The goal of the continuity of care function is to define, shape, and sequence the patient’s clinical care and activities along the hospital admission and care continuum through to discharge. the Case Manager bases care recommendations on information gathered from many sources and team members, about patients’ needs and insures the patients are placed in the appropriate level of care through the application of Interqual criteria.
Job Summary: Under the general direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Case Management is responsible for the ongoing development, formalization and administration of the inpatient and ambulatory case management program. This nursing leader position manages case management staff productivity, personnel issues, performance and ensures that high quality case and utilization management services are provided. Additionally, this position is accountable for objectively relating outcome measures to support ongoing performance improvement and clinical efficiency activities for established and future clinical, functional, financial, customer satisfaction, and service standards of the St. Rose Dominican Hospital case management program.

Experience
Minimum - Five years of relevant experience in case management and utilization review with at least two years related supervisor/management.
Education
Minimum - Bachelor Science Degree in Nursing required.
Preferred - Masters Degree in a health related field preferred.
Training
Assaultive Behavior Course within 30 days of hire.
Licensure
RN = RN license from NV State Nursing Board.
CT CPRBLS = Basic Life Support CPR.
