The Sales Associate is responsible for overall management and operation of the Retail Stores with key functions of driving sales, daily preparation of the store at a high standard, and inventory management. The store is planned to be open 2 days per week, but the candidate is expected to work 3 days per week. The position will report to Finance Director and will also work closely with the Sales and the Operations Managers.
KEY RESPONSBILITIES RETAIL STORE OPERATIONS
- High standard of customer service
- Being knowledgeable of our products to answer questions related to product features, sizing, pricing, and store policies as well as locating items for customers
- Managing cash registers and processing payments
- Maintain product merchandising and display to a high standard
- Maintain high level of store presentation – both store floor, dressing room, and stock
- Analyze sales and revenue reports and derive sales forecasts
- Maintenance and management of POS (“Point of Sales”) system
- Processing internal orders INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
- Inventory management such as product item setup, inbound/outbound shipment management, picking and packing orders, etc.
- Closely monitor the stock level to support forecasting stock and to secure a proper replenishment
- Support inventory audit, conducting stock take once a year
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Minimum of 3 years of Retail experience including customer service skills
- Exposure to business operations preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and data driven mindset
- Intermediate Excel experience/skill
- Responsible, professional, pro-active, independent
