Summary of Position:
This role’s key responsibilities are to facilitate the smooth functioning of our payroll department and ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
Core Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform daily payroll duties.
- Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
- Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate payroll reports.
- Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
- Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers.
- Prepares various payroll reports for both internal and external users.
- Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests via email and phone.
- Upholds ethical standards of conduct in compliance with all company policies, but not limited to such as confidential information.
- Maintains employee confidence by keeping information confidential.
- Any other related tasks. Other projects may be assigned when necessary.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Must be a dependable team player and have a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Good analytical skills
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; think critically; manage multiple priorities and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Possess superior customer service skills.
- Must be highly detail-oriented and very organized with the ability to adapt to a changing environment while following tasks through to completion.
- Proactive with a team-player outlook.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Paylocity and/or Paycom experience

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
