An IT apprentice at Florida Blue is an entry level role, and will be responsible for assisting IT resources on the team, learning and developing practical skills, participating in training, classes, and on-the-job training.

What are my key responsibilities:
- Documenting IT controls
- Attend training/workshops, on-the-job training and participating in as many learning opportunities as possible. Keep a log of everything learned.
- Assist teammates with tasks and responsibilities within the team
- Work closely with our technicians as they support our existing and new customers’ IT requirements.
- Complete all testing, presentations, and other required evaluations.
- Build professional relationships with both internal and external customers.
What is Required:
- 0-1 years work experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to learn new functions, document learnings, and develop an understanding of how different task/roles relate to each other in the department or with other partnering departments
- Ability to communicate technical issues and solutions to a broader audience
- Ability to learn new information and assimilate into required tasks regularly
- Ability to successfully juggle multiple tasks, in a fast-paced environment
What is Preferred:
- Knowledge and/or experience with MS Office products
- Knowledge of IT issue management
- Knowledge of SDLC and Agile
General Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

Hourly Pay Range: $19 - $31
Typical Hourly Pay Range: $19 - $24
