The Director, Human Resources, Business Partnering is responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of human resource activities for multiple corporate based Global Operations departments including, employee relations, staffing (job approval and guidance), employee development, employee engagement, performance management, talent and succession planning and adherence to employment laws. Utilizing their deep knowledge of the organization, strategy, and customers the Director of HR Business Partnering will act as a liaison and advisor to senior management/management for respective departments on all HR-related planning, strategic initiatives, facilitation, and activities.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Collaborates with the HR Leadership team to provide input into the design, implementation and evaluation of the HR strategy that engages global business services, internal customers and HR Business partners to strategically manage the Herbalife Nutrition workforce within their functional area.
- Function as a strategic business partner to senior management in organizational reviews, learning and development, succession planning and talent identification.
- Provide day-to-day human resource management including recruitment (partnering with the hiring managers in providing input), employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee development, coaching and the adherence to employment laws
- Assist in the headcount approval process, get involved in interview process when necessary and provide proper support to the department for which he/she is responsible. Provide coaching and counseling to management on issues related to employee relations, including guidance around fair and legal resolutions, preparation of corrective action documents, performance management, investigations, and terminations
- Interpret, explain, and ensure adherence to Company and government rules, regulations, and procedures. Advise management on employment law compliance
- Support management of HR programs and activities such as service awards, employee recognition, job descriptions and HR training
- Provide insight to the business and assist Compensation and Benefits department in administering compensation and benefit programs including performance management, bonus plans, and other benefits according to the company’s philosophy, budget, and applicable laws
- Support future growth and work with leaders to insure employees receive appropriate training and development opportunities
- Work with corporate management to motivate employees and identify organizational performance and organization effectiveness improvements through coaching
- In collaboration with GBS, ensure employee documentation/files are in compliance with corporate guidelines and regulations
- Utilize HRIS data to provide reports, proactively monitor staffing, employment activity, turnover and other HR metrics
- Analyze data and provide strategic advice to management relating to workforce planning, hiring, employee engagement and employee experience
- Provide guidance and advice to business partners
- Lead special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.

Experience:
- 10-12 years’ HR Business Partnering experience managing / counselling staff and/or business partners in strategic operations.
- Strong background in California labor laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations management cases.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field, preferably with a concentration in Human Resources
