About the Position
The Medical Surgical Nurse manager reports to the
Director of Medical Surgical Services and will mange a
department with 40+ FTEs. The Med/Surg Manager will be
responsible for man! aging the patient experience, Core
Measures, Regulatory Co! mpliance and leadership of the
department. This hospital is looking for a leader with
excellent communication skills, a team player, who has a
collaborative work style, and who is able to handle
change in a smooth and effective manner. The ideal
leader will collaborate and coordinate with departmental
leadership through effective communication.
Requirements
- RN, ADN required, BSN highly preferred
- MSN or enrolled in program preferred
- 3+ years MedSurg experience at supervisory level;
- 5+ years progressive leadership experience preferred
