We are a full service, acute care hospital, and is one of the most established facilities in Las Vegas. As a full-service hospital, we offer a range of health care resources, scope of services includes cardiology, neurology, emergency and trauma services, air ambulance, women and children's services, orthopedics, medical/surgical, oncology, and critical/intensive care.
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager Med Surg. Must have RN Nevada License and BSN and a minimum of three (3) year! s clinical experience and a minimum of two (2) years progressi! ve management experience in Medical Surgical Unit.
Seeking 3-5 years experience working as a Med Surg Manager in an acute care hospital setting. Responsible for the management of the Med Surg unit assuring patient care meets the standard of care.
Responsible for assuring adequate staffing and maintaining appropriate productivity standards. Demonstrates advanced knowledge and skills in the care of patients in designated areas. Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process-assessment, care planning, implementation, and reassessment. Documents patient care; coordinates interdisciplinary communication and care; participates on hospital committees; facilitate unit meetings. Develops and implements unit specific competencies; annual performance of staff; supervises RN's, LPN's, CNA's, MST's, and Unit Secretaries. Provides coaching and counseling for employees as appropriate; supervises unit scheduling; monitors and addresses call-ins.
